This interactive, asynchronous course aims to equip ICU clinicians with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify, address, and manage common supportive and palliative care needs of ICU patients. The experience of ICU patients is often traumatic, and this course will supplement participants’ pre-existing skills so as to further enhance their ability to support patients and improve quality of care.

This collaborative programme between Diagnostics Development Hub (DxD Hub) and Duke-NUS CoRE is designed to promote innovation and facilitate the successful translation of novel ideas to a health product in the market.

The Clinical Research Certificate Programme offers the opportunity to become competent in understanding the medical literature, in initiating clinical research and proficient in conducting clinical research. This programme is geared toward healthcare professionals, and students in the areas of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, nutrient and dietetics, physical therapy, occupational therapy and other related fields. The certificate programme contains three different segments from a basic overview of most common methods used in clinical research to more advanced concepts of clinical research design and methods.

This half-day practical workshop covers sample size estimation for various clinical research studies, including randomized controlled trials and observational studies. Participants will learn to calculate sample sizes using free web-based applications and to justify these estimates for grant applications and study protocols.

Join us for the first fully online Palliative Care Course for the Emergency Department clinicians in Singapore! Specially designed by practicing clinicians from Emergency Medicine and Palliative Care, this course provides busy clinicians with generalist palliative care skills and knowledge to meet the needs of patients with serious life-limiting diseases in the Emergency Department.

This 2-day business implementation workshop equips participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to advance a Health and MedTech innovation from project stage to market adoption. Through sessions led by experienced industry practitioners, participants will explore the integration of technology development with real-world evidence generation, and gain practical knowledge on essential functions such as market access, adoption pathways, and operational planning. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to chart a path to commercialisation — developing strategies for intellectual property, clinical validation, marketing, and sales—while also understanding the role of health technology assessment and strategic pricing to support market uptake and adoption.
