Join us for the first fully online Palliative Care Course for Intensive Care Units (ICUs) healthcare practitioners in Singapore! This interactive, asynchronous course aims to equip ICU clinicians with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify, address, and manage common supportive and palliative care needs of ICU patients. The experience of ICU patients is often traumatic, and this course will supplement participants’ pre-existing skills so as to further enhance their ability to support patients and improve quality of care.

A 3-day interdisciplinary course is specially designed to equip healthcare professionals caring for patients with advanced cardiac illnesses with the basic supportive care skills and knowledge to integrate into their practice. The trainers in this course range from experienced cardiologists to doctors, nurses and pharmacists from the field of cardiology, supportive and palliative care. The content is presented through interactive lectures, discussions and role play activities.

The certificate programme contains three different segments from a basic overview of most common methods used in clinical research to more advanced concepts of clinical research design and methods.

This course is designed to help you effectively plan, perform, and communicate results from statistical analyses with confidence. Through practical, hands-on training in data analysis using Stata programming, you will build real-world skills that can be directly applied to clinical and research settings. Guided by experienced biostatisticians with strong expertise in both teaching and statistical analysis, you will focus on the essential methods that matter most. The course covers a wide range of statistical analysis techniques for different research objectives, helps you determine appropriate analytical approaches for data from clinical trials and observational studies, and develops your ability to interpret results accurately to generate meaningful evidence. In addition, you will learn good reporting practices to support high-quality scientific publications.

The Executive Certificate Programme consists of three short courses. These short courses are 2-day workshops, containing essential topics for the working professionals, while maintaining a comprehensive scope. The short courses are typically conducted within a 3-6 months period, allowing the candidate to finish the learning journey efficiently.
