Join us for the first fully online Palliative Care Course for Intensive Care Units (ICUs) healthcare practitioners in Singapore! This interactive, asynchronous course aims to equip ICU clinicians with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify, address, and manage common supportive and palliative care needs of ICU patients. The experience of ICU patients is often traumatic, and this course will supplement participants’ pre-existing skills so as to further enhance their ability to support patients and improve quality of care.

The Executive Certificate Programme consists of three short courses. These short courses are 2-day workshops, containing essential topics for the working professionals, while maintaining a comprehensive scope. The short courses are typically conducted within a 3-6 months period, allowing the candidate to finish the learning journey efficiently.

To address the competency and development needs arising from this evolving role of medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry in response to the changing healthcare landscape, CoRE and Janssen Asia Pacific, part of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, have formed the Joint Alliance Duke-NUS Education (JADE), a certificate programme specialising in Medical Affairs.

This certificate course covers the foundational principles and practice of palliative care. It aims to build professional competency and confidence by equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and basic skills to work with patients and families facing life-threatening illnesses. The trainers in this course range from experienced social workers to doctors and nurses from the field of palliative care. The content is presented through interactive lectures, discussions and role play activities conducted in classroom teaching.
