This workshop will equip clinicians with the skills to conduct serious illness conversations with patients and families. The Serious Illness Conversation Program offers healthcare professionals a structure and language to talk with seriously ill patients about their goals, values and wishes in advancing illness.

The SMILE® Accreditation Course 2024 is designed to provide ophthalmologists with thorough training in SMILE surgery, combining online modules, lectures, interactive sessions, and practical experiences. It starts with an online pre-learning module on LASIK fundamentals, setting a foundation for the more advanced on-site training.

Join us in this this inaugural SPLICES workshop, jointly organised by the Lien Centre of Palliative Care (LCPC), the Surgery Academic Clinical Program (ACP) and the Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology (DSSO), where we aim to splice and integrate principles of palliative care in the management of seriously ill patients in surgery.

LCPC E-Library is a collection of free, educational resources related to palliative care. Our intention is to share good educational resources for the benefit of all those who are teaching and learning about palliative care. These resources are most effective when combined with face-to-face teaching. They can also be used as pre-reading materials for courses/workshops.
